I love attending Laundry Love each month!  I enjoy talking to the people there because it reminds me of the important things in life, and causes me to count my blessings. It's a dose of reality each time I go, which is just what the doctor ordered.

Laundry Love Santa Ana has taught me that there is often far more love and kindness among those who have little than those who have much. Now, because of Laundry Love, I have friends who have to sleep on the streets at night, and I am not okay with that.

Humans can’t survive without other humans. We need to help one another.

Laundry Love Santa Ana is truly special. It has opened my heart to Santa Ana and the people who live there. It has been an honor and joy to get to know them more.

In my car on the way home, I feel a little less impatient that the heater is so slow to warm up...I've visited a lot of poverty programs over the years, and this one lacks the sense that the impoverished are someone "other." It's in the DNA of the task before them: Everyone has to wash dirty socks.
